Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Adviser of the interim government, has called on the field administration to take an active and crucial role in making sure the government’s goals are met.

He shared this message during a virtual meeting with local administrators on Monday morning, December 30, from his office.

"The administration at the grassroots level is the real government," Dr. Yunus said, stressing the importance of field-level governance. He explained that the interim government is committed to protecting the rights of every citizen.

For this reason, he asked all those involved in local projects to stay focused and ensure they are completed within the set timelines.

During the meeting, Dr. Yunus also addressed concerns about police officers involved in criminal activities.

He made it clear that anyone guilty of such actions would face appropriate punishment.

Additionally, he instructed that textbooks for students should be distributed in an orderly and disciplined way at the beginning of the new academic year.

With the Chief Adviser’s strong emphasis on accountability and timely execution, the message was clear: the success of the interim government depends largely on the efforts of those working at the local level.
